Every NCCS Student Loves...
Community Service
Service is embedded in our program, with oldest students creating their own projects.
Music
Just wait until you hear all of our students sing together at Christmas time. You'll be amazed! Our K-12 program is based in the Kodály method.
Public Speaking
Even our kindergartners get in on the action. Presentations happen at every level.
Art
Each NCCS student takes art every week, but that doesn't stop our classroom teachers from doing lots of art projects, too!
Field Trips
Seniors like field trips just as much as 3rd graders (maybe more)!
Chapel
Weekly chapel includes music, prayer, and deep instruction. We encourage parents and families to join in every Wednesday!
These opportunities are available to all of our students, Kindergarten through 12th Grade.
School Wide Events
Everybody loves lunch! Students can buy hot lunches four times per week, either through our ordering service or through our Seniors raising funds for their Capstone Europe Trip.
A week long affair! Decade day (pictured), Athletes vs. Mathletes, and School Spirit Day are all favorites.
In September, our whole community comes together for food trucks, games, vendors, and more!

Grammar School Students Love...
Students enjoy daily (sometimes twice!) recess and weekly PE classes.
Students grades 1-6 attend Memory Period every morning: jingles, chants, songs, and recitation. Our alumni consistently name Memory Period as one of NCCS' best features.
NCCS does Field Day like you've never seen it before. Water slide, Chicken Chuckin', and Watermelon eating are just a few of the contests.

Upper School Students Love...
Middle and High School men and ladies play basketball each winter for the NCCS Knights. We partner with the Fellowship for Christian Athletes to allow our students to join many other athletic teams without any academic penalty. (Teams may include Cross Country, Baseball, and Volleyball.) Go Knights!
Past productions include The Importance of Being Earnest, Cyrano de Bergerac, Little Women (pictured), and The Scarlet Pimpernel.
6th-8th graders always look forward to a three day retreat with their parents and teachers as they anticipate and navigate the challenges and opportunities of the Upper School, banding together as a unit for support and training.

House System
The Upper School House System is the most prominent social feature of our Upper School. Every student is sorted into one of four houses, which becomes his family outside of his grade level. Houses compete against each other throughout the year for trophies and points. Student leaders are appointed to leadership positions, playing key roles in mentorship, planning, and event execution. The top house is awarded the House Cup at the end of the year.
Which house will you join?
