All employees are required to submit to state and federal fingerprinting and background checks, complete child protection training, and complete CPR/First Aid/AED certification.

All full or part time applicants should contact the Head of School for a copy of the current Employee Handbook to understand all duties and responsibilities of faculty and staff.

All faculty and staff shall subscribe without reservation to the School’s Statement of Faith and Philosophy of Education and Methods of Instruction. All must be Christian role models in the school and community. Each year, faculty and staff member shall provide the School evidence of active membership in good standing in a local evangelical church, or pastoral testimony of their faithfulness and commitment to a local evangelical church. All new, full-time employees will also be interviewed by the session of New Covenant Presbyterian Church (OPC).
They shall also meet the following doctrinal qualifications:

All paid staff at NCCS should have a credible profession of faith in Christ and a personal testimony of the saving work of God in their lives.

All teaching staff at NCCS (including part-time and aides), must also agree fully with the Five Solas of the Reformation.

All full-time K-2nd grade teachers must also read the First Catechism and should express general agreement with the teachings of the catechism and full and enthusiastic agreement with the portions of the catechism that they will be expected to teach. Further, they must study the Westminster Shorter Catechism.

All full-time 3rd-6th grade teachers must also agree with the Five Points of Calvinism, all of the First Catechism, and the Westminster Shorter Catechism.

All full-time 7th-8th grade teachers must also agree with the Westminster Confession of Faith.

All full-time 9th-12th must also be familiar with the Westminster Larger Catechism and may be required to teach portions of it.
